4" Inground Bollards
4" inground steel bollards are commonly used in areas with vehicle traffic but not high risk (no risk to pedestrians, entryway, buildings or valuables) . You might see these bollards installed in a drive-through lane to keep vehicles from getting too close to signs or walls. Inground bollards are usually installed 3 to 4 feet above ground and can range in depth from 2 to 4 feet and are filled with concrete when installed.

4" Inground Bollard Order

4" schedule 40 US steel pipe bollards. These protective bollards are installed in-ground (in concrete, asphalt or soil) and filled with concrete during installation. Bollards are typically painted safety yellow, however we can custom paint to match any desired color.
4" Inground bollards are typically used around gas station pumps or bank drive-through lanes to keep slow moving vehicles from hitting sensitive areas, however due to their smaller steel pipe diameter they offer less protection when hit. The slim profile is desirable in areas where there is not enough room for a more robust bollard post diameter.
