Bollard Products
Removable Bollards
These removable bollards come with a heavy duty locakable plate, able to withstand heavy traffic and provide excellent protection. Choose from existing sizes and styles or let us build your custom removable bollards.
Inground Bollards
Inground bollards offer great security and protection. These bollards are the most common bollards installed. We only use schedule 40 steel and all our bollards are blasted for better paint adherance.
Affordable & Strong
Steel Pipe Sizes
We never cut corners. While some bollards are sold as heavy duty, they are actually made using thinner wall material. We always use a minimum of schedule 40. Common bollard diameters range from 4" to 8" however this can be misleading as the sizes are actually "nominal". So if your plan calls for a 6" bollard, the actual outside diameter of the pipe will be 6.625". When ordering just refer to the nominal size.
Steel Pipe Lengths
Most bollards range in length from 3' to 8'. Inground bollards are typically be installed 2' underground (minimum) and 3' to 4' above ground. Surface mount bollards also are standard 3' and 4' heights are bolted directly to the concrete. We cut to order any pipe bollard lengths in case you need more height above or below ground.
Bollard Installations
Bollards provide the most protection when installed in concrete but can be installed in asphalt or soil. Fixed bollards bolt down and require a concrete base to work properly. Regardless of what type of install you need, we have the equipment and experience to do the job right. We primarily install bollards in the greater Houston area, but do install larger bollard jobs bollards throughout Texas and Louisiana.
Paint
Our standard stocked bollards are all blasted before they are primed and painted. This removes the oils and coatings (applied buy the steel mills to prevent rusting) that prevents primer and paint from adhering to the steel. Once blasted apply a coat of primer and two coats of high-gloss, fade resistant safety yellow paint. This saves our customers time and money as they do not have to paint onsite when installed!
Powder Coated
If you want a more polished look and longer life, powder-coating your bollards is a great option. Powder-coating is more scratch resistant than paint and has a very clean finished look. All our powder-coated bollards are blasted before coating and we have many color choices to choose from.
Galvanized
Galvanizing bollards provides excellent rust protection and is recommended for bollards that need to last a lifetime in a wet environment or will be frequently moved, scratched or hit. Galvanized bollards can be painted any color needed and we recommend removable bollard sleeves be galvanized if the budget allows.
